This is an Intermediate course.
You should be comfortable with the
operation of your camera, dowloading images onto a computer and being able to navigate around a computer.

Join Jennifer Wu for a week of photographing spring wildflowers, botanical gardens and a variety of macro subjects. Field sessions during morning and evening light will be spent photographing fields of wild poppies, the rugged coastal range and beautiful gardens around the Los Osos area.
Learn
Creative composition for photographing flowers and other macro subjects· Lens selection and useful accessories for macro photography· Techniques for flower photography including controlling depth
of field, adjusting exposure and setting proper white balance· Techniques for processing your files. A basic knowledge of
Photoshop or Lightroom is recommended.
Field and studio demonstrations will show you first hand how to use
flash, light modifiers and reflectors for macro photography.
Jennifer will critique your images several times during the course
of the workshop.
This is a valuable opportunity to get advice and learn to improve your images. She will help you develop your
techniques as well as inspire you to expand your personal vision.
This workshop is for those who want to expand their knowledge and
creativity!
Workshop attendees should have a basic understanding of their
digital camera, be familiar with shutter speeds and f-stops.
