Registration Policies

It is important to us that you understand our policies before you register for a course. Our prime objective is to offer the best courses possible while being fair to all parties involved. Please review these policies, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
 

 

 

Cancellations- New 2010 Policy -
Please Read

Your deposit of 50% of the course fee guarantees your registration. Should you need to cancel, you must do so no less than 45 days prior to the course date and you will receive a refund less a 15% handling fee.

There is no refund if you cancel less than 45 days prior to your course, unless the class is full and we are able to fill your spot.

If we need to cancel a session you will be given a 30 day notice and receive a full refund of all payments.

 

 

 

 

Transfers
New 2010 Policy -
Please Read

If you would like to transfer to a different course, or different dates for the same course, we would be happy to accommodate your request on a space-available basis and with the payment of an administrative fee. If you transfer more than 44 days prior to your originally scheduled course, the fee will be $50.

*Transfers 15- 44 days prior to the course can only transfer 50% of the original course fee. To transfer, you must sign up for another class by the time your original workshop was scheduled. Otherwise you forfeit your 50% return deposit.

No transfers can be applied within 15 days prior to your scheduled workshop.

 
 

 

 

Refunds

All refunds will be processed within 30 days back to the original credit card unless otherwise requested. All refund checks must be deposited within 90 days or the check will no longer be valid. We are not responsible for lost or undeposited checks after 90 days.

The course fee covers your participation and lab materials during the course. It does not include travel, lodging, transportation, or meal expenses. We suggest that you wait for registration confirmation from our staff before making any non-refundable travel arrangements.

I understand that the class I am participating in, sponsored by LIGHT Photographic Workshops, will possibly entail working on surfaces that are rocky, slippery, or otherwise potentially hazardous. The instructors and their assistants cannot personally be responsible for each seminar participant and his/her equipment while in the field and while in his/her vehicles.  Therefore, I hereby release LIGHT Photographic Workshops, its agents and employees from all liability if I suffer any damage or injury during the seminar from any cause.

 

Automatically Charge Balance 60 days prior to course?
Check here to authorize LIGHT Photographic Workshops to automatically charge the balance due (total course fee minus deposit paid during registration) to the same credit card used for the deposit. This charge will not be applied until sixty days prior to the first day of the course you are registering for.

Pay in full now?
Check here if you would prefer to have the full course fee charged now, rather than a 50% deposit with the balance due 60 days prior to the course. Note that if you are registering less than 60 days prior to a course we will automatically charge the full course fee.
