This course continues to introduce the new or beginning
user to Adobe Photoshop CS5

Prerequisites:  

A desire or need to learn Photoshop.  You should be familiar with the basic Photoshop interface, image navigation, layers, tools, and the Bridge.  Depending upon the Saturday flow, we may shoot Sunday morning so bring your digital camera.  If you do not have a camera, the Institute has the full Canon digital SLR line available for use.  Regardless of the shoot, you should bring digital captures with you.

About the Course

This course is designed as a companion to the Photoshop 1 course, typically offered the weekend prior.  The course continues to introduce the new or beginning user to Adobe Photoshop with an emphasis on the digital photographer’s needs.  Hal will discuss layer masks, tonal Hal & Victoria Schmittcorrections, color corrections, and the most current Adobe Camera Raw.

Who Should Attend:

Anyone looking to learn Adobe Photoshop the most effective way.  Emphasis is placed on the basics and fundamentals.  LIGHT Workshops believes in setting a firm foundation upon which you can quickly proceed and expand your digital skills.

Saturday and Sunday
9:00am - 5:00pm, at LIGHT

Lab/Digital Darkroom PS work.
Possible Photo Shoot Sunday morning.
